It’s been a beautiful spring and the available inventory in CascadeTownship is starting to rebound with almost 23% more homes on the market this month then last. But looking back to last May, active listings have only increased by 0.9% so inventory is still low.
Seasonal fluctuations suggest that inventory won’t increase significantly till late summer or mid fall. By last November, the estimated months of inventory was up to 6 months, so fussy buyers may require patience to find their dream home.
Those who are motivated to sell should list their homes now. The popularity of this community continues to grow and summer is typically a great time to find buyers. Although inventory is just over 3 months of supply righ now, homes sold in Cascade between June 2013 and January 2014 spent less then two months on the market on average. Prices are fairly steady with average sale prices hovering around the low $300’s. To obtain a Real Estate Market Report specific to your neighborhood and community contact us.
