2012 – Director, Michigan Association of REALTORS

Elected District 3 Director of the Michigan Association of REALTORS.  The Michigan Association of REALTORS is the leading advocacy and public policy arm of the real estate industry in Michigan. The MAR is the state’s largest professional real estate trade association, dedicated to serving more than 22,500 members across the state.

2011 – President, Grand Rapids Association of REALTORS

Grand Rapids Association of REALTORS, with 2000+ members is the third largest real estate organization in the State of Michigan.  During her tenure, the organization embarked on a Leadership Academy development program and initiated training and education programs in the increasingly influential arena of online marketing and social media.  Members of the Association also donated thousands of hours of community service through the 50,000 Points of Light campaign to residents of the West Michigan area.

2007 – Professional Standards Committee, Grand Rapids Association of REALTORS

The Professional Standards Committee is tasked with monitoring and reviewing complaints and ensuring compliance with the  Associations standards of conduct and ethics.  Members of this committee are selected based on their prior service to the Association, standing in the community and ethical standards and professional conduct.

2006 – Earned Certified Residential Specialist Designation (CRS)

The Certified Residential Specialist Designation is a nationally recognized designation held by the top 4% of the REALTOR community.  Residential Specialists must complete a rigorous curriculum and demonstrate competence in the real estate profession documented by a certified volume of successfully completed transactions.
