Ada, MI: Summer is definitely here – although at times, it has seemed to take a long time coming this year! Buyers searching for high end executive homes flock to beautiful Ada Township with its incredible scenery and excellent schools. Prospective buyers may need to exercise patience however, although the number of homes on the market has increased almost 25% in the last month, in the past year there has been a 31% decrease in available properties for this area!
This decrease can be partly explained by the severe weather and seasonal fluctuations; homes that sold in May 2014 spent an average of 70 days on the market, compared to only 57 in May 2013. That number is expected to decrease through the summer, however, and with only 2.5 months of inventory, this looks like a great time for sellers!
Real Estate does tend to heat up with the temperature and properties listed back in April should find a buyer soon or at least start seeing some serious offers. In June and July of 2013, homes sold in about 43 days on average. That’s less then a month and a half from listing to close! If you’ve been waiting for a buyer, your time could be coming soon!
